Self-Service lists
This is an optional feature that administrators can enable per list. If a list shows a "subscribe" button you can click it to join the email list. By clicking "unsubscribe" you are removed from the list again.
Via email
You can manage your email lists by sending an email. This allows you to change your email preferences without ever needing to use our webapp.
Example
Say you want to subscribe to mylist@example.com. you can then send an
email to mylist-subscribe@example.com which will add you to the list.
you will then recieve a confirmation email if the request is completed successfully.
This should take less then a minute. You can just add -subscribe to any list that
has the feature enabled. Unsubscribing works identically by using -unsubscribe.
Administrators can change the format of these addresses. You can find your instance-specific postifxes in the app or by asking your administrator.
