Forwarding Lists
Forwarding lists are as simple as it gets: sending an email to the list forwards it to everyone in the list. You can find an overview of available lists in the webapp. Note that there may be lists that exist but are hidden for various reasons, these are usually common abbreviations or aliases. Just because you cannot see a list does not mean it doesn't exist, ask your instance administrator for the full list if needed.
By default you do not get what we call "pingbacks" - you do not mail yourself. This behaviour can be configured in your account settings.
If you enable pingbacks and email to a list you are not part of you will still get a copy of your email delivered back to you. This does not subscribe you to the list and only works for lists you are allowed to send to.
